( This started off as a post on honesty and wound up being about PTSD triggers. It contains a discussion of honesty in my job, white lies, privilege, racism and the social services reaction to an allegation of sexual abuse (and how that reaction can turn into a PTSD trigger), as well as a request for thoughts on how I can work through said trigger. Some things I've said in this post may be made of privileged fail, but I'm honestly trying to get better, so any thoughts on how to do so are welcome, :)). Read at your own risk and thanks in advance for any constructive thoughts or advice. This post is unlocked for now, but will probably disappear eventually. )
