Even More On DADT
Oct. 19th, 2010 04:02 pmMilitary Recruiters were told to accept gay applicants, but they're warning that the applicants might not be able to stay around for long.
What the fucking fuck? The military is desperate enough for new recruits that they're going to go ahead and allow gays to join up, but they're basically telling them, "Go ahead and get your hopes up, but we'll probably crush them later."
Also, Lt. Dan Choi to reenlist. As he's been one of the most vocal advocates against DADT, I think that his reenlistment is a positive on a number of levels. At the very least, it will make the military look very, very bad if he's drummed out again.
Why is this so bloody difficult? Oh, yeah, I remember now - because most of those in power descended from the Puritans, our mindset in this country comes from those sick and twisted ideals of morality and on top of that, every politician is a two-faced lying hypocrite.
