Oh and I recently talked to someone who didn't know the seasons are reversed down here :S

(and they're totally lying when they say summer only lasts three months - we really get 4-5 months of summer-ish weather - but judging from what my other friend in Ohio has told me you know what that's like ^^)

I made it to 90% British - which makes sense having lived in England for 45 years (spent 7 years out in the Middle East) ... apparently knowing anything about the US (such as number of states and what's on Pennsylvania Avenue) detracts from my Britishness ;-)

Mind you, my partner is American ... maybe she's rubbing off on me ;-)
