Olbermann Suspended Over Donations
Keith Olbermann's been suspended indefinitely without pay for some campaign contributions he made to Democratic candidates. Here's the thing - he never claimed to be impartial. Not only that, but can you really tell me that Bill O'Reilly doesn't make campaign contributions to Republicans? The article said that Olbermann made the donations without prior approval, which doesn't seem kosher to me. So now an employee has to declare who he supports in politics to his boss? I realize that employers can basically put anything in an employment contract, but somehow I don't think that that would hold up in court.
I like Rachel Maddow, but the entire reason I started watching MSNBC is for Keith Olbermann and I know a lot of people my age who say the same thing. Can you say, 'big mistake?' I think you can, :).
