Totally disgusted at that. There was once a time that I thought the GOP stood up for heroes like this. But they have lost what shred of humanity they have in favor of big money and big business.

These guys are awesome and would never ask for anything they did not absolutely desperately need. No taxpayer should deny them any help.

I agree that Republicans do have some good ideas, but they are not practicing them. It's too much to expect them to support small and medium businesses in the interest of free market, but its all deregulating banks and stupid fucking wars for oil cronies.

I've thought for years that no one who wants the job should have it, to the point where I almost think we'd be better off if being President/in Congress was like jury duty. You'd get paid (but not well) and there's a fixed time as to how long you'd be there...
