Rush Limbaugh Is A Whore

So I watched Family Guy tonight.  So Seth MacFarlane got Rush Limbaugh to be a part of the show and make fun of himself and everything he stands for.

Yeah, somehow I can't see Sean Penn showing up at a Sarah Palin rally, no matter how much money someone threw at him.

And those of you who know me, know that I don't use the word 'whore' lightly.  

To me, someone is a whore when they ignore their principles and accept a job that makes them look like a hypocritical tool just for the money. 

Someone is a whore when they don't respect themselves or those whom they ally with, in business or pleasure.

Someone is a whore when only the dollar signs motivate them, not any sense of morality or principle.

Rush Limbaugh is a whore.

I despise Rush Limbaugh. I have no idea what it's going to take for people to stop listening to him, since he's stepped in it so many times already and somehow he still has an audience. Unfortunately, I think appearing on a show like Family Guy is only going to garner him respect for being able to laugh at himself -- respect he doesn't really deserve, because there's no doubt this ounce of self-deprecation probably came with some significant dollar signs, not to mention free publicity. Grumble.

And you're right about him constantly stepping in it. He's an anti-drug, drug addict and anti-gay marriage who's been divorced multiple times and as for him 'laughing at himself', well... The way they did it, he didn't come across as laughing at himself. He came across as someone who didn't really believe anything he says, only paid the vaguest of lip service to it.

It was disgusting.

Sometimes I wonder if Limbaugh even believes the stuff he says or if it's all just an act for money. Maybe he did when he first got on the air, but now he's just so outrageous that he's a caricature of himself. I just can't get past that feeling when I do listen to him that he's just in it for the money.

The Family Guy episode made it very obvious that all he cared about was the money and leading the stupid around by the nose. It's why I called him a whore, :(.
