Prompt Me, Please

Stolen from wendymr, because I love writing drabbles & ficlets, too and because my bibliography isn't long enough to do the "Stump the Writer" Meme, :).

Rules:

1) Doctor Who or Torchwood, though I will crossover if I'm familiar with the show. 
2) Jack/anyone, slash, het or gen.  Literally anyone, so long as they are sentient (so no getting cute and asking for Myfanwy, ;)), though if I loathe the character I reserve the right to ask for someone else.  
3) Simple prompts only, please.  When I say simple, I mean one, two or three-word prompts like: "Rain", "Longing"... You get the idea, :).  More complex prompts turn into bunnies that breed and take over my brain.  So keep it simple, for I am simple, :).
4) I reserve the right to stop doing this at any time.  I also reserve the right to ask for a different prompt if the one you give me eats my brain. 
ETA 5) If you give me more than one, I'll pick one of them to do and will reserve the right to do or disregard any others, :).
ETA - All stories will be posted in the order in which I was prompted, :).
ETA - Effective 9/13/2010, this is now a permanent challenge on my journal.  If you give me a prompt per the guidelines above, I'll try to write it for you, :).

ETA for Yuletide 11/18/10: If you want Rose, Gwen or Owen, I'll only write a gen fic.  My apologies, but I don't see these characters in a romantic/sexual way, so I'll only write them in friendship roles.  Everyone else is fair game.  Also, I'll pair Jack with certain characters from other fandoms as well.  For example, I'd be willing to do X-Files Jack/Krycek, HP Jack/Snape or Jack/Weasley Twins (which is the ONLY incest I'll do), Sherlock Jack/Holmes or maybe Jack/Holmes/Watson in a pinch, White Collar Jack/Neal (which is currently owed - I haven't forgotten), Fringe Jack/Peter.  If there's a character that you'd love to see Jack paired with that I haven't mentioned, please just ask - I might be willing to write it, :).  (No Glee, please, sorry.)

Also, please keep in mind that I'm an atheist, so while I'm willing to do holiday-related fic (and indeed, will be putting up a Christmas tree of my own), I won't be sending any characters to church, nor will I be overly focused on any "deeper meaning" to the season other than, "Peace on Earth, goodwill towards men."   I apologize if anyone finds this offensive, but it's because I don't want to offend anyone that I wanted to make this absolutely clear.

Is it too late to prompt you? I have enjoyed all your drabbles/ficlets so far, and I hope you continue writing a lot more of them. Anyway, I just watched the episode of Torchwood where they resurrect Suzie, and I really love the last bit - the interaction between Jack and Ianto and the list of things they can do with a stopwatch, so I guess if the idea hasn't been done to death I'd like to prompt you with -

I am not new to Torchwood, or Dr Who (been a fan since before Tom Baker was the Doctor) but I am very new to the fandom/fanfic side of things - in fact your fics are the only TW/DW fics I have read. I haven't had much time to suss out any others since I stumbled upon "The Perfect Storm" quite by accident and went "DOH! Why did I never look for Jack/Ianto fics before now?!" I figured the stopwatch idea was probably a common theme/idea, but I just love Ianto's expressions during that scene. I have complete faith that you will do something wonderful with it! :)

Prompt: gingerbread

Option 2:
Pairing: Jack/10.5
Prompt: "All I want for Christmas is..."

Option 3:
Pairing: 10th Doctor/Ianto
Prompt: wrapping presents

And feel free to combine the pairings and/or prompts however you'd like (example if you like Option 1's prompt but hate the pairing, love option 3's pairing but hate the prompt, just mix and match).
