The Perfect Storm Update
Aug. 5th, 2010 01:07 amAfter a long bout of writer's block, I was finally able to write the section that had been tripping me up. This means that I'm only a couple of chapters away from actually being done with Book One. Once it's complete and beta'd, I'll be posting whatever chapters are left in one big chunk as a thank you to everyone for waiting so patiently, :). As of right now, there are 68 chapters complete, 65 of which are beta'd, so yay (and thank you again to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
frakkin_addict for all of your hard work - I truly can't express how much I appreciate it)! I'm thinking that the final count will be 70 chapters, but I could be wrong, heh.
I already have roughly 60,000 words written on Book Two, but I don't think that it will be out quite as quickly, unfortunately. I'm also not sure about the format I'll be using for it, as a lot of what's written so far is more 'day in the life' - type-stuff and I'm not quite sure how to categorize that. Still, I have a much clearer idea of where that one is going, so hopefully I'll be able to get it completed a lot more quickly, *fingers crossed*.
It's difficult for me to believe that I've been writing this since October 1, 2009 and posting it since March 26, 2010.
It's been wonderful for me to make all these new friends, see all of these great comments and really feel the enjoyment that y'all are getting out of reading it. I truly appreciate everyone who's friended and commented - I only hope that I don't disappoint you in the end, :).

ETA: Wow. I think that I just finished it. Now, chapters 66-69 still need betaing and I know that some revisions are needed, but overall, it's looking done. The end's been written for a while, I just didn't realize that it was the end, if you can feel me, :).
