Snowman

Title: Snowman
Author: Teleen ([livejournal.com profile] teleen_fiction )
Fandom: Torchwood
Pairing: Jack/Ianto
Rating: PG
Word Count: 114
Summary: Jack and Ianto make a snowman.
Author's Note: Written for [livejournal.com profile] dieastra, as a thank you for spotting several typos in The Perfect Storm.  Based on this

“You’re a really weird guy, you know that?”

“Quoting Red Dwarf at me – you definitely know the way to my heart.”

“Seriously, Jack – didn’t one of these things kill you the first time ‘round?”

“It did.”

“And you made a snowman out of it.” Ianto’s tone was both flat and dubious.

Jack shrugged.  “Look at it this way – if a Dalek hadn’t killed me, I wouldn’t be here now.”

Ianto cocked his head. “Is that a good thing or not?”

Jack moved very close to him. “You tell me.”

“You’re going to want me to warm you up later, aren’t you?”

Jack grinned.  “What do you think?”

“I think it’s a good thing.”

Oooooooh! That was fast! And so nice! And you even linked to the pictures I took.

Ianto is right, in a ways it is weird, but then again it is a way to overcome your fears or something? Laugh about your enemies? That's what I was thinking when I let Jack build this.

And I like that line with warming up - I'm all for that!

Thank you!

hmmmmmm...yet daleks are such an EASY form to copy, so that's probably why it works as a snowman.

Ah well, Ianto has his priorities straight!

:( Frakkin took my line... That's probably why Jack likes snow, because of the warming up after

Love this! It feels very in character =)

I will get around to reading your longer stories someday, but right now I'm stuck in one-shot land - they're easy & quick to read in between doing the things I should do =) I'm keeping half an eye on The Perfect Storm, watching it get longer and longer - I really don't know how you do it!

The Perfect Storm wrote a lot of itself, to be honest, heh. Now I'm getting down into the nitty-gritty of finishing book one and writing the sequel and it's gotten more difficult, :)

I'll be looking forward to seeing what you think when you have time, :).

Thanks for reading! :)
