The footlong is a hotdog? Who eats at footlong hotdog!? Not that I wouldn't if I had the option, I was just totally unaware that this wondermeat existed...

You're in the US and have never heard of a footlong hotdog? Well, I guess if you've never been to a baseball game or amusement park or state fair... Or seen "Pee Wee's Big Adventure", ;). The last one was the first place that I'd heard of it, but to tell the truth, I don't know that I've ever seen one in person - only in films, so I guess I can't really say anything to you about it, lol!

You guys have never been in the food court of a mall? Most of them have someplace that sells hotdogs, and footlongs are usually an option. Along with brats and half-smokes.

Good point! I actually don't eat hotdogs very often - once in a blue moon - so it wouldn't occur to me to look for them...
