RIP Leslie Nielsen

Hard to believe that the guy in "Airplane" was the same one from "Forbidden Planet". 

"And then I'll put more guards on the guards!"

He'll be missed, :(.

Leslie Nielsen dies at 84.

I'm actually feeling a little choked up.  He was someone whom I really thought would always be there, foolish as that thought was.

No one lives forever, but there are some we definitely miss more than others.

Yeah. I had a little crying jag.

I'll admit that I'm not familiar with his earlier work, but I watched Airplane so many times as a kid that my mom hid the VHS on my sister and I.

He'll be missed terribly. :(

My favorite memories of him are from 'Due South'. He was a very funny man, and will be missed,.

It was kinda a stealth death, I just had no sense that it was coming (not like anyone owed telling me he might die). So it struck me as odd and not real when I heard he'd died.
